Take A Chance - Gulf and Bay Access with Neighborhood Pool

Take a Chance was a very peaceful and beautiful place to stay. The home is very close to the beach. The community pool is only a few blocks away and the private walkway to the beach. The house was well stocked with towels we needed and cooking utensils needed. We made a fresh shrimp stir fry one night from the shrimp we got in Port St Joe . The home is very close to Port St Joe where there are lots of nice restaurants I recommend the Quatro Locos the White Marlin and the Smokehouse all great food. We saw a lot of Stingrays swimming when we were at the beach. I had one recommendation to cover the front door with a blind or curtain for extra privacy. Great rental. Perfect to access the bay and beach. Had to evacuate due to mandatory evacuation and Vince communicated with us throughout. Kitchen could be stocked better but otherwise it was a great place. - (Sep 2023 - VRBO)

This house was the perfect location for our little getaway. Close to restaurants and stores. The house set up was perfect and provided easy access to a private dock Bayside, and a private pathway to the beach. Check in/out was super easy. This place has a great porch and great windows to watch the gulf and the bay. If you would like to have a comfortable home base for viewing and exploring the coast, this is your spot! We enjoyed our stay at Take a Chance. It was pet friendly so we were able to take our dog with us and the deck had a gate so she could be outside with us without being on a leash.
