Occupancy Limits:
The maximum occupancy is strictly 5 people. Names and ages of all occupants must be listed on the rental agreement. Rental rates shown are based on 2 occupants. Additional guests incur a charge of $3 per person, per day. This villa is one of 6, if you have more than 5 guests, please inquire about renting other villas.
Pet Policy:
Pets are welcome with a nonrefundable pet fee of $75 for the first pet and $50 for the second pet. All pets must be declared and listed on the rental agreement.
Cleaning Fees:
A standard cleaning fee of $185 applies. Additional charges include $20 for stays exceeding 7 days, $65 for stays exceeding two weeks, and $120 for stays exceeding four weeks.
Taxes:
A 12% combined sales and lodging tax will be applied to all rental rates.
Credit/Debit Card Fee:
3.5% service fee applied to card payments.
Security Deposit:
A refundable security deposit of $200 is required with reservation. This deposit will be returned within 14 days of checkout, provided no damage, unauthorized guests, or undeclared pets are reported.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations more than 30 days before check-in:
All payments will be refunded, excluding credit card processing fees paid.
Cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in:
50% of the rent and fees, excluding credit card processing fees paid, will be refunded.
Mandatory Hurricane Evacuation:
In the event of a mandatory hurricane evacuation, a prorated refund of the base rent will be issued for the days the property cannot be occupied. No refunds will be issued for other weather-related events.
We strongly advise purchasing trip insurance.

The ease of arrival was wonderful. Everything was clean and organized in the rental. The access to the fishing pier was wonderful. Also, being able to walk to the beach was perfection. Any one of these cottages at Scallop Cove is the best place to stay on the Cape, especially if you bring pets. You wake up to the amazing sunrise over the bay and the sun sets over the ocean across the street. There is private beach access with this accommodation. Super clean, super well equipped for cooking, beautiful view of the bay and very convenient to the beach. The convenience of the store nearby was wonderful! The only downside is that the bedroom with the single bed is very tight. I am not sure it would work for larger build people, just because it would be very hard to access the closet area and one side of the bed. And the shower is also a small corner shower. It worked well for us but is something to note. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable option that doesn't involve sacrificing comfort and cleanliness! There is a great screened porch, and an open deck, as well as a nice yard to walk dogs. It's also the BEST view of the sunrise and a quick walk to the beach to see the sunset! - (Jul 2024 - VRBO)

Great Location!
We had a wonderful stay! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals so after stopping at the Piggly Wiggly on the way in we didn't leave the Cape until we checked out. Scallop Cove is literal steps away with a small selection of grocery items and even some beach gear so anything we decided we needed we just purchased there. We rented kayaks and bikes from San Flea rentals which we used almost daily. The sunrise from the back screened porch and deck was breathtakingly beautiful. And an easy walk across the street puts you on the beach. As for the home, it was just what we needed. A nice cozy place for the 2 of us. The outdoor shower was great for getting the sand off too!
