Nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and St. Joseph's Bay, Cape San Blas is a natural paradise, surrounded by miles of pristine beaches, emerald green waters, and protected wildlife habitats. It's common to spot deer, foxes, eagles, ospreys, sea turtles, and even the occasional black bear. Just minutes away, St. Joseph Peninsula State Park offers 2,500 acres of unspoiled beauty within 10 miles of untouched beach and bay shorelines, plus a convenient boat tramp.
The villas 2 bedroom, 1-bath layout is designed for comfort, with a walk-in shower easily accessible from both sides of the hallway. One bedroom features a queen bed, while the second has a queen/twin bunk perfect for family stays. The kitchen is well stocked, and high speed WiFi ensures you stay connected.Take a step outside to the spacious deck complete with a picnic table for casual dining, or relax in the screened-in porch, perfect for soaking in the fresh sea breeze.
Your private pier stretches into the bay, providing easy access to the water for boating, fishing, or snorkeling. You can anchor your boat just off the pier in the shallow protected waters near Pig's Island, making this an ideal spot for boaters and anglers. ***Pier not permitted for mooring*** For beach lovers, you have boardwalk access to the beach, where you can relax in the sun or watch playful dolphins in the surf (3-5 min walk).
Parking for two vehicles is available.
Conveniently located behind the top-rated bait and tackle shop on the Cape, you'll have access to expert fishing advice and all the gear you need for a day on the water. Next door, a well-stocked gas station ensures you'll never run out of supplies suring your stay. Kayaks and canoes are also available for rent, so you can fully explore the surrounding waters.
Scallop Cove #4 (Sunshine Daydream) offers the ultimate blend of coastal charm, outdoor adventure, and serene relaxation.
Occupancy Limits:
The maximum occupancy is strictly 5 people. Names and ages of all occupants must be listed on the rental agreement. Rental rates shown are based on 2 occupants. Additional guests incur a charge of $3 per person, per day. This villa is one of 6, if you have more than 5 guests, please inquire about renting other villas.
Pet Policy:
Pets are welcome with a nonrefundable pet fee of $75 for the first pet and $50 for the second pet. All pets must be declared and listed on the rental agreement.
Cleaning Fees:
A standard cleaning fee of $185 applies. Additional charges include $20 for stays exceeding 7 days, $65 for stays exceeding two weeks, and $120 for stays exceeding four weeks.
Taxes:
A 12% combined sales and lodging tax will be applied to all rental rates.
Credit/Debit Card Fee:
3.5% service fee applied to card payments.
Security Deposit:
A refundable security deposit of $200 is required with reservation. This deposit will be returned within 14 days of checkout, provided no damage, unauthorized guests, or undeclared pets are reported.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations more than 30 days before check-in:
All payments will be refunded, excluding credit card processing fees paid.
Cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in:
50% of the rent and fees, excluding credit card processing fees paid, will be refunded.
Mandatory Hurricane Evacuation:
In the event of a mandatory hurricane evacuation, a prorated refund of the base rent will be issued for the days the property cannot be occupied. No refunds will be issued for other weather-related events.
We strongly advise purchasing trip insurance.

This charming villa was beautifully updated (we used to stay at Scallop Cove many years ago), clean, and had all the necessities needed for our stay! The pier access was really nice since we were there to scallop. Note: you are not allowed to tie up to it at all. So if you come with a boat be prepared to anchor up and wade to it back n forth. The house itself was true to the pics. May be slightly tight if you have more than 2ppl or plan to stay long & aren't a light packer. We used the bunk room for our luggage with no issues. Was pleasantly surprised that even though it's pet friendly, I never came across a single hair, anywhere! Same with sand. Just what we brought in as we came and went. We enjoy staying on the Cape. This is actually our second time staying in the same cabin. We love the location. Easy check in, Courtney was super responsive. Well-stocked kitchen. Everything was very clean. My only tips for for absolute perfection would be to 1) check the AC system, there was some visible debris on the vent on one of the bedrooms and 2) fix the hole in the screen on the porch to keep skeeters out. Perfect little getaway! The location was great-close to the convenience store and offering beautiful sunrises over the water. The dock was a big hit with the kids, and we loved spotting the bald eagle perched in the tall trees every day. This was our first time staying on the bay as we normally stay Oceanside. Everything about the home was perfect. My daughter had a blast playing on the dock, catching crabs, and whatever else she could find. The only downside I will say is the bunkbed was very difficult to get into because the letter was not accessible on it.
