This was our third trip to the Cape and the second time staying behind Scallop Cove. Everything was great! The kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. We just loved this cottage. It was perfect for our relaxed beach vaca. The screened front porch was perfect for watching the sunrise over the bay. We also loved opening the french doors to allow the breeze in. The kitchen was SO nicely appointed!! Great cookware, nice stemware & even insulated drink cups for the beach. Everything we needed to make our meals with ease (even some spices). The bed was very comfy. The rooms are tight and not much room for luggage but to us this wasn't a concern as we used the 2nd bedroom as a closet. I would definitely stay here again! The private beach right across the street was so convenient. And the general store is there is you need anything. Check in was a breeze. Good wifi strength too. - (Oct 2025 - VRBO)

This charming villa was beautifully updated (we used to stay at Scallop Cove many years ago), clean, and had all the necessities needed for our stay! The pier access was really nice since we were there to scallop. Note: you are not allowed to tie up to it at all. So if you come with a boat be prepared to anchor up and wade to it back n forth. The house itself was true to the pics. May be slightly tight if you have more than 2ppl or plan to stay long & aren't a light packer. We used the bunk room for our luggage with no issues. Was pleasantly surprised that even though it's pet friendly, I never came across a single hair, anywhere! Same with sand. Just what we brought in as we came and went. We enjoy staying on the Cape. This is actually our second time staying in the same cabin. We love the location. We can fish, walk the beach, watch the sunrise, get supplies at Scallop Cove and watch the activity at the dock without ever getting in the car. Great private location! - (Aug 2025 - Airbnb)

Easy check in, Courtney was super responsive. Well-stocked kitchen. Everything was very clean. My only tips for for absolute perfection would be to 1) check the AC system, there was some visible debris on the vent on one of the bedrooms and 2) fix the hole in the screen on the porch to keep skeeters out. Perfect little getaway! The location was great-close to the convenience store and offering beautiful sunrises over the water. The dock was a big hit with the kids, and we loved spotting the bald eagle perched in the tall trees every day.
